Interpretation of the Quran- Surat Al-An'am (6)- Lesson (06-73): Ayat (19-24) The true faith is to believe that Allah is the Doer of what He wills.

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Dear brothers, this is lesson No. 6 of interpreting Surat Al-An'am.

Opportunists and those who earn unlawful money reject Prophethood:

We will start with the Ayah No. 19 where Allah says:

﴾Say (O Muhammad PBUH): "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; this Qur'an has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach. Can you verily bear witness that besides Allah there are other aliha (gods)?" Say "I bear no (such) witness!" Say: "But in truth He (Allah) is the only one Ilah (God). And truly I am innocent of what you join in worship with Him."﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

Dear brothers, when Allah sends a human being as a Messenger of His to people and when this Messenger says to them, "I am Allah's Messenger", and he brings them a Divine Method containing the dos and don'ts, his Message will be refused by those who tend to follow their lust and to fulfill their desires freely, and who are not accustomed to follow dos and don'ts. In fact this is the response of all societies which are far from Allah's Path and who call themselves as the "free world". The word "freedom" is abused by those societies and is comprehended as a right to do everything one likes without being called to account, but in this case this is not freedom, but rather it is dissoluteness. Hence, those, who oppose the Prophets' prophethood and the Messengers' Divine Messages, are the people who take dissoluteness as a habit, who fulfill their lusts without limits, who earn money from whatever sources and who have unlawful affairs with women, given any mischief on earth is but the outcome of satisfying forbidden lusts, earning money regardless the means and involving in unlawful affairs with women. Thus, whoever is used to fulfill his pleasures and earn unlawful money will deny the Prophet's prophethood and the Messengers' Message, and his first response to Allah's Message is:

﴾And those who disbelieve, say: "You (O Muhammad PBUH) are not a Messenger.﴿

[Ar-Ra'd, 43]

Allah's Promises and Menaces prove that the Quran is His Words:

When someone comes to you and does not put limits to your freedom or compels you to do any assignment, you might be courteous to him and even you might welcome him, but if he assigns you to do something which might limit your freedom, your natural response is to accuse him of lying. This is the reason why the Prophets and Messengers of Allah were provided with miracles which were  the proofs that confirm their prophethood and Divine Mission.

﴾And those who disbelieve, say: "You (O Muhammad PBUH) are not a Messenger.﴿

How can he prove that he is a Messenger from Allah? Better yet, how will Allah prove that he is His Messenger? This Ayah indicates that they demanded him of a proof from Allah to be as a testimony of his prophethood by saying to him, "If Allah sends you, then where is the proof? Let Him prove that He is the One who sends you." Then Allah says:

﴾Say (O Muhammad PBUH): "What thing is the most great in witness?"﴿

 [Al-An'am, 19]

This means that Allah asks his Prophet PBUH to say, "If you want a proof and a testimony that I am a Messenger, then the irrefutable testimony is Allah's:

﴾Say (O Muhammad PBUH): "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you;﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

This testimony is Allah's Testimony, and this is the Divine Proof, which  is the Noble Quran:

﴾Say (O Muhammad PBUH): "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; this Qur'an has been revealed to me﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

The order goes like this: The Noble Quran is Allah's Words;

((The superiority of Allah's Word (Qur'an) over other words is like the superiority of Allah over His creatures.))

In this Quran there are two key proofs that it is the words of Allah;  the first one is that all Divine Promises and Menaces  come  true, and this cannot be done except by the Creator of mankind.

Stories  in the Quran manifest  the fulfillment of the Divine Promises and Menaces:

The Almighty Allah says:

﴾Allah will destroy Riba (usury)﴿

[Al-Baqarah, 276]

Whoever defies  Allah and earns Riba (usury), will be left for a while, but then he will be destroyed by destroying his money. The destruction of his money is Allah's Testimony that the Quran is Allah's Words, because Allah fulfilled His Menace of destroying usury. On the other hand, when someone does a good deed, he lives a good life, and this good life is Allah's Testimony that the Quran is Allah's Words because Allah promised those who offer good deeds to be blessed with a good life, and it is only Allah Who can fulfill such a promise.

Dear brothers,  the fulfillment of the Divine Promises and Menaces is the Divine Testimony that the Noble Quran is Allah's Words. There are countless stories which manifest the Divine fulfillment of Allah's Promises and Menaces. Therefore, the irrefutable Divine testimony that the Noble Quran is Allah's Words is that all the promises and menaces within are fulfilled.

﴾The Romans have been defeated* In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious* Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after (these events) is only with Allah, (before the defeat of Romans by the Persians, and after, i.e. the defeat of the Persians by the Romans). And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice (at the victory given by Allah to the Romans against the Persians),﴿

[Ar-Rum, 2-4]

This Ayah was revealed before Romans were defeated, so when their defeat took place, it was a fulfillment of the Divine Promise, and  a testimony from Allah that the Noble Quran is His Words. We can go on and on explaining these proofs. Result of your reconciliation with Allah is one more proof, because the minute you reconcile with Allah and follow His Right Path, you will be overwhelmed with happiness and tranquility since  Allah promises you to be like this, when He the Almighty says:

﴾As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah and fears Him* And believes in Al-Husna* We will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness).﴿

[Al-Lail, 5-7]

When you believe that you are created for Paradise, and when you build your life on giving others, you fear Allah and you refrain from sinning, you will see that everything in life is on your side and falls within your favor, and this happens to you because of the Divine Decree of the Creator of the universes.

One third of Quran is full of indications of scientific breakthroughs:

Let me repeat again, the  rigorous evidence that the Noble Quran is Allah's Words is that the fulfillment of all the Divine Promises and Menaces, and this is Allah's Testimony to mankind that the Noble Quran is His Words. Here is another example:

﴾Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salat (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salat (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times, etc.] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell.﴿

[Maryam, 59]

When Muslims abandoned Salah and followed lusts, they were thrown in the Hell of the worldly life, and the oppression they are suffering now is a testimony from Allah to people that this Noble Quran is the Words of the Creator of mankind.

The second proof:  The Almighty Allah mentions the universe in more than 1300 Ayat  in the Quran, and some of these Ayat  have scientific concept, while others include scientific breakthroughs.  Some examples  of the inimitability of the Quran which indicate the Greatness of Allah are disclosed recently after 1500 years of the revelation of the Quran, and these scientific facts were not known back then. Hence, such scientific indications in the Quran are considered scientific breakthroughs, and they are mentioned in one third of the Ayat  of the Noble Quran. Take for example the gender of the fetus; it has been discovered lately that the fetus is determined by the sperm not the egg. Read  the following Ayah (which includes this scientific fact):

﴾And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female* From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted;﴿

[An-Najm, 45-46]

Some proofs of the inimitability of the Quran:

It has been  a scientific fact by now that everything in the universe rotates, starting with the atom and ending with the galaxy. Such a  scientific fact is mentioned in the following Ayah:

﴾They all float, each in an orbit.﴿

[Ya-Sin, 40]

The darkness of the outer space is mentioned in the Quran too, and this fact now is known to scientists after the astronauts reached the outer space, and this darkness is due to the absence of the air in the outer space. Allah says:

﴾And even if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they were to continue ascending thereto* They would surely say: "Our eyes have been (as if) dazzled. Nay, we are a people bewitched."﴿

[Al-Hijr, 14-15]

Also when man was able to travel to the outer space, he experienced the lack of air (Oxygen) in the high air layers, and this fact is also indicated in the Quran. Allah says:

﴾And whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He opens his breast to Islam, and whomsoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky. ﴿

 [Al-An'am, 125]

Man discovered that there is a barrier between every two different seas which prevents the two waters from mixing together. Moreover, according to very detailed scientific researches, scientists found out that this barrier is formed due to the unique composition of every sea with regard to its salt, nature, density and qualities. This fact is indicated in the following Ayah:

﴾He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together* Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress* Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny﴿

[Ar-Rahman, 19-21]

The Quran mentions the spherical shape of the earth and its orbit around the sun:

Scientists discovered lately that the earth revolves around the sun which stays at a constant distance from the earth. However, the sun along with  the solar system heads to a certain point in the outer space. Man's eye sees that the sun move  around the earth, and it rises in the east and sets in the west. Allah says:

﴾And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed).﴿

[Ya-Sin, 38]

The earth revolves around the sun, and according to science it is globe-shaped. This fact is mentioned in the Quran in so many Ayat. Allah says:

﴾That is because Allah merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night. ﴿

[Al-Hajj, 61]

The only geometric shape that allows this merging between the day and night is the globe-shape only, because when the globe-shape rotates around a light, there will be merging between light and darkness. This happens only in the globe-shape, so  if a cubic shape rotates around a light, the light will appear and  then vanish suddenly. Hence, the merging of the night into the day  happens only if the earth is round, and this is why at dawn there is this merging between light and darkness, and the same happens at sunset. Allah also says:

﴾And it is He Who spread out the earth﴿

[Ar-Ra'd, 3]

The only geometric shape that allows the everlasting spreading is the globe-shape.

﴾And it is He Who spread out the earth﴿

There are other Ayat that indicate this fact.

The Quran is the irrefutable evidence from Allah that Muhammad is His Messenger:

Accordingly, all the Ayat, which indicate a scientific fact or a scientific breakthrough that  is impossible to be known at the time when the Quran was revealed to the Prophet PBUH, are Allah's Testimony to mankind that this Noble Quran is His Words, and since this Quran is Allah's Words,  the one who conveyed it (Prophet Muhammad PBUH) is Allah's Messenger.  We can say then that the irrefutable Divine Testimony to mankind that Muhammad PBUH, son of Abdullah, is the Messenger of Allah is this Noble Quran.

﴾Say (O Muhammad PBUH): "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you;﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

Allah  addresses  people  saying to them: Are  you not pleased that Allah is the Witness? When the answer is affirmative  then the second question is: How will Allah testify in Muhammad's favor? The answer lies in the Quran, since the promises in the Quran are fulfilled, since the menaces in the Quran come true and since there are scientific indications in the Quran which are impossible to be known at the time when the Quran was revealed, yet they can be understood now after this scientific advance. Allah says:

﴾We will show them Our Signs in the universe, and in their ownselves﴿

[Fussilat, 53]

These two substantial proofs, which are the fulfillment of promises and menaces and the inimitability of the Quran, are Allah's Testimony to mankind that this man (i.e. the Prophet PBUH) who conveyed the Quran is a Prophet and a Messenger of Allah. Hence, when you are asked about the proof that Muhammad PBUH, son of Abdullah, is a Prophet and a Messenger and that he is not just a genius man or a preacher like any other preacher, your answer should be: The proof is the Noble Quran.

Everything on earth indicates the existence of Allah:

The stages of faith are as follows: The first thing is that the universe is the constant fact  that is beheld by all people whether the believers, disbelievers or people of man-made rituals. This extended universe consists of 230 billion galaxies, and each one of them consists of billions of planets and stars. Therefore,  all people can see this universe. People are able to see the sun, the moon, the seas, the rivers, the mountains, the valleys, the animals, the fishes, the birds and the plants. Thus, everything on earth leads to Allah the Almighty.

This universe cannot deny its Creator (i.e. Allah), but man can. To those who do not believe in the Creator of the universe I say: Will you accept telling you that a very advanced plane, with all its high-tech gadgets, engines, measuring instruments, altitude measuring devices, cooling system and cozy seats is the outcome of an explosion of a bomb in an iron warehouse?   Can  any explosion make such a plane? Will you accept if I tell you that a book of science with all its chapters, footnotes,  and comments is the outcome of an explosion in a printing office? Hence, this universe is the first constant fact, and man is able to believe in Allah by using his reasoning, and he is able to reach the fact that there is a Creator of this universe Who has beautiful Names, Who has Mercy, Who has Wisdom, Who has Knowledge and Who has Power.

Two weeks ago, Allah's Power was manifested in this strong earthquake whose strength equals the explosion of 1 million atomic bombs, and it was manifested in the destroying tsunami following that earthquake. Allah can make water a grace upon man and can make it a destructive power. Hence, this universe denotes the Divine Super Power, Knowledge, Mercy and Wisdom. Thus, you can reach the reality of the Divine Existence, the Divine Oneness and the Divine Perfection by using your reasoning.  Therefore, the first fact is that your reasoning alone is enough to realize that this Quran is Allah's Words due to its inimitability and due to the fulfillment of the Divine Promises and Menaces.
Also, by using your reasoning you can realize that the one who brought this Quran is the Prophet of Allah PBUH. Accordingly, you are able to believe scientifically, rationally and evidentially that the Almighty Allah exists, that He is the Only Deity and that He is Perfect through His creations, Book (i.e. Quran) and the man whom He sent to all mankind (i.e. Muhammad PBUH, son of Abdullah).

When you are done with using your reasoning in believing in Allah through the universe, in believing in the Quran through its inimitability and the fulfillments of its Divine Promises and Menaces and in believing in Muhammad PBUH as the Messenger of Allah through the Quran, the role of your reasoning  is over at this point, and then comes the role of the Divine Revelation, for whatever that is beyond your reasoning Allah tells you about through His Revelation.

The Quran addresses mankind till the end of days, and Allah  protects this Book:

This concept is indicated in the following Ayah:

﴾Say (O Muhammad): "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; this Qur'an has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach.﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

This Quran has  not been sent only to the companions of the Prophet PBUH, nor has it been sent only to the People of Makkah, Quraish, Arabs and people who lived in the Prophetic era, but rather this Quran has been  sent to every human being in the five continents since it has been revealed till the end of days.

﴾That I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach. ﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

By the way, Allah, may His Glory be Glorified, has entrusted to His own Entity  the protection of the Quran, but  what does that mean? It means that  Allah ordered all the Prophets who were sent before Prophet Muhammad PBUH to protect their Divine Books. Allah says:

﴾To them was entrusted the protection of Allah's Book﴿

[Al-Ma'idah', 44]

All Prophets (before Muhammad PBUH) were Divinely ordered to protect the Divine Books, but Allah did not promise to protect their books, so  their followers changed these Divine Books. However, the Almighty Allah promised to protect the Quran till the end of days is upon His Entity. Therefore, despite all the corruption, mischief and sins on earth, Allah's Protection of the Quran is beyond imagination, whether in its writing, calligraphy, editions, protection and all the institutions which accomplish  this mission. The Quran is the only Divine Book on earth that remains  the same as it was when it first was revealed (to Muhammad PBUH), and that is because Allah accomplishes the mission of protecting it.

Learning Allah's Words (Quran) entails learning the Prophetic Sunnah:

Scholars of Aqidah went further than that; they said that the Prophetic Sunnah is the interpretation of Allah's Words (Quran), and thus protecting the Quran (Divinely) includes  protecting Sunnah. Accordingly, Allah appointed notable scholars who were given special skills to revise, categorize, classify and expurgate the Prophetic Hadith. Those scholars categorized Hadith in many categories, like Al-Mutawatir (A hadith whose words are narrated by such a large number as is required for a mutawatir, in a manner that all the narrators are unanimous in reporting it with the same words without any substantial discrepancy.), As-Sahih (A Sahih hadith is the one which has a continuous isnad, made up of reporters of trustworthy memory from similar authorities, and which is found to be free from any irregularities (i.e. in the text) or defects (i.e. in the isnad)."), Al-Hasan (A Hasan hadith is one which excels the Da'if but nevertheless does not reach the standard of a Sahih hadith), Ad-Da'if (A hadith which fails to reach the status of Hasan is Da'if. Usually, the weakness is one of discontinuity in the isnad) and Al-Mawdoo' (fabricated and, forged hadith). Hence, when notable scholars undertake this mission and when they use these tremendous efforts to preserve Hadith, this means that the Almighty Allah protects Hadith because He protects the Quran.

﴾Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption) .﴿

[Al-Hijr, 9]

 Therefore:

﴾Say (O Muhammad PBUH): "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; this Qur'an has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach.﴿

 [Al-An'am, 19]

The Noble Quran which was revealed to Muhammad PBUH is the same one we have in our hands. One might ask: Do you have the proof? The answer is: It is a matter of believing. I told you earlier that man is able to believe in Allah through His creations by using his reasoning, he can also believe in Allah through pondering over Allah's Words or through His Messenger, but our reasoning stops right here, and when it comes to protecting the Quran from being changed or distorted, we resort to the Divine Reporting by which we were told that Allah promised to protect the Quran. Thus, when we believe that the universe is the constant fact which denotes Allah, then we believe in the inimitability of the Quran which proves that it is Allah's Words, and when we believe that all Quran's Ayat are Qat'iat Ath-Thuboot (definitive), then we will believe that Allah will protect the Quran as it is mentioned in the following Ayah:

﴾Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption) .﴿

[Al-Hijr, 9]

This is a matter of believing (faith).

The authenticated Divine Reporting is the only way to tell us about the Unseen:

Man is certain about lots of things due to his five senses, thus his eyes are his means to see things and their traces, but when the thing cannot be seen, yet its traces remain, then the means to track down its trace is reasoning. "The water indicates the brook. The tracks indicate the direction of the journey, while the dung indicates a camel. So, heavens possessing of such towers, and the earth with such paths, and the sea with such waves – would that not indicate (the existence of) the All-Wise the All-Aware?"

When things cannot be seen and cannot be traced, because they and their traces are absent, the divine reporting is the only source of information about them. Accordingly, the Almighty Allah tells us in His Quran that He will protect it, and because we believe in the Quran, we are certain that the Quran in our hands is the same Quran which was revealed to the heart of the Prophet PBUH. Thus, it is a faith related non-negotiable issue:

﴾Say (O Muhammad): "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; this Qur'an has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach. Can you verily bear witness that besides Allah there are other aliha (gods)?"﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

Man can testify by his tongue and say whatever he wants, yet his deeds testify against him. Accordingly, when man fears, seeks his needs from, takes pride of, resorts to and allies with whoever other than Allah, then this is a practical behavior which testifies against him that he is Mushrik (associates partners with Allah):

﴾That I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach. Can you verily bear witness that besides Allah there are other aliha (gods)?"﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

The believer knows that Allah is the Doer of what He wills:

When you obey a creation and disobey the creator, this is a testimony in practice that you are Mushrik. Why do you deceive Muslims, Allah forbid? You do so, because you subconsciously believe that the money you earn from deceiving Muslims are more important to you than obeying Allah. Therefore, when man pleases people at the expense of displeasing Allah, and when he obeys another man and disobeys the Creator, this is his testimony that he is Mushrik. Allah says:

﴾Can you verily bear witness that besides Allah there are other aliha (gods)?" Say "I bear no (such) witness!"﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

Servants of Allah learned nothing better than Tawheed.

﴾And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad) but We inspired him (saying): La ilaha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allah)], so worship Me (Alone and none else)."﴿

[Al-Anbiya', 25]

The true believer believes in every cell and every drop of his blood in his body  that the Almighty Allah is the Only Doer of what He wills and that His Hand is over man's hand:

﴾And you (Muhammad PBUH) threw not when you did throw but Allah threw﴿

[Al-Anfal, 17]

The true faith is to know that Allah is the Doer of what He wills:

The Almighty Allah says:

﴾And to Allah belongs the Ghaib (unseen) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him return all affairs (for decision). So worship Him (O Muhammad PBUH) and put your trust in Him.﴿

[Hud, 123]

﴾ To Allah belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. ﴿

[ Ash-Shura-12 ]

﴾They have no Wali (Helper, Disposer of affairs, Protector, etc.) other than Him, and He makes none to share in His Decision and His Rule."﴿

[Al-Kahf, 26]

Allah also says:

﴾ Whatever of mercy (i.e.of good), Allah may grant to mankind, none can withhold it, and whatever He may withhold, none can grant it thereafter. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. ﴿

[Al-Fatir, 2]

When you have this strong belief in Tawheed, you will become a true believer, given your faith will not exalt unless you believe that Allah exists, Allah is the Creator of the heavens and the earth and that:

﴾ He does what He intends (or wills)﴿

[ Al-Burooj-16 ]

Getting acquainted with Allah by pondering over His Words and creation:

Allah says:

﴾Can you verily bear witness that besides Allah there are other aliha (gods)?" Say "I bear no (such) witness!" Say: "But in truth He (Allah) is the only one Ilah (God). ﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

You might witness wars, invasions, earthquakes, volcanoes, sectarian conflicts, international wars, apparent oppression, killings, torturing and destructions of building, and all of which confirm that Allah is the Only Doer, but when you start knowing Allah through His Actions, let me tell you that this path is full of  perils. Therefore, my advice to you is to start knowing Allah not through His Actions, but through His Creations and Words, because when you do so, your acquired faith will be reflected on your comprehension of the Divine Actions:

﴾Say "I bear no (such) witness!" Say: "But in truth He (Allah) is the only one Ilah (God). And truly I am innocent of what you join in worship with Him."﴿

[Al-An'am, 19]

This is why Allah says:

﴾So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. ﴿

[Ash-Shu'ara', 213]

One of the greatest reasons behind mental torment is associating partners with Allah:

﴾ So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. ﴿

Only Tawheed and faith bring comfort to the soul.

When man disbelieves in this religion, he will surely lose his own self:

Dear brothers, Allah then says:

﴾Those to whom We have given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognize him (i.e. Muhammad PBUH as a Messenger of Allah, and they also know that there is no Ilah (God) but Allah and Islam is Allah's Religion), as they recognize their own sons. Those who destroy themselves will not believe. (Tafsir At-Tabari)﴿

[Al-An'am, 20]

﴾Those to whom We have given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognize him (i.e. Muhammad PBUH as a Messenger of Allah, and they also know that there is no Ilah (God) but Allah and Islam is Allah's Religion),﴿

[Al-An'am, 20]

Allah meant the Messenger of Allah Muhammad PBUH.

﴾As they recognize their own sons.﴿

[Al-An'am, 20]

This Ayah is very delicate. The father's knowledge of his own son is the most honest, the most confirmed and the prompter. Is there any father on earth who asks his son about his name? Absolutely there is not.  Therefore, the most axiomatic acquaintance on earth is the one of the father with his son. The proof which is given to the Prophet PBUH is this Noble Quran, and this Quran should be known by Fitrah (an inborn natural predisposition which cannot change, and which exists at birth in all human beings. It is inclined towards right action and submission to Allah, the One Deity), and man would know that it is Allah's Words the minute he reads it, and on the other hand, the minute man reads a forged divine book, he will know that it deserves nothing but sarcasm.

There is a book in the market entitled "Furqan Al-Haqq" (it is a book written in Arabic mirroring the Qur'an but incorporating elements of traditional Christian teaching), and let me tell that I am pretty sure that whoever reads this book wherever he is in the Muslim World will feel in every cell of his body that it is falsehood. There is something amazing in the Quran is that makes whoever reads it knows it by Fitrah, so when you read it, you will get goosebumps,  and you will certainly feel that the One Who addresses you is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Thus there is no party on earth who can deceive you of any man-written book claiming that it is Allah's Words, while Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, is the Only One Who can convince you that the Quran is His Words. Therefore:

﴾Those to whom We have given the Scripture (Jews and Christians)﴿

[Al-An'am, 20]

Due to craving lusts and interests which they feared to lose, they denied the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, and they denied that the Quran is Allah's Words, but in fact they know for sure that He is a Prophet:

﴾As they recognize their own sons.﴿

[Al-An'am, 20]

There is not more eloquent similitude  than this one; the Jews and the Christians recognize the Prophet PBUH as a Prophet and the Quran as Allah's Words like the father who recognizes his own son:

﴾Those to whom We have given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognize him (i.e. Muhammad  as a Messenger of Allah, and they also know that there is no Ilah (God) but Allah and Islam is Allah's Religion), as they recognize their own sons.﴿

[Al-An'am, 20]

When they did not believe, and they denied the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, they lost a great loss.

﴾ Those who destroy themselves﴿

[Al-An'am, 20]

Man might lose his house, Allah forbid, or his wealth, yet his safety is what counts, because he can make money  again and  become rich once again, but if he loses himself, he will lose everything else. Hence, when man disbelieves in this religion, he will lose everything, because he lost himself.

The biggest winner is whoever wins himself, and the biggest loser is whoever loses it:

The Almighty Allah says:

(Those to whom We have given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognize him (i.e. Muhammad PBUH as a Messenger of Allah, and they also know that there is no Ilah (God) but Allah and Islam is Allah's Religion), as they recognize their own sons. Those who destroy themselves will not believe . (Tafsir At-Tabari)﴿

[Al-An'am, 20]

This means that if you do not believe, you will lose yourself, but if you believe you will gain yourself, and the big winner is the one who wins his own self, whereas the big loser is the one who loses it.

﴾The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection﴿

[Az-Zumar, 15]

Disbelieving leads to the ultimate loss. Man might lose many things like losing his commerce after his partner takes opportunity of the company and leaves him with nothing, but his potentials and skills are still there, and he can stand on his feet again. However, if he is killed, everything will come to an end. One more thing, there is another big error besides disbelieving; Allah says:

﴾And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.)? Verily, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) shall never be successful.﴿

[Al-An'am, 21]

﴾And who does more wrong﴿

 [Al-An'am, 21]

In the sight of Allah, who does more wrong?

﴾And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah﴿

[Al-An'am, 21]

He is the one who disbelieves in the Quran and in the Prophethood of the prophet PBUH, and who invents a lie against Allah:

﴾And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.)? Verily, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) shall never be successful.﴿

[Al-An'am, 21]

He becomes a disbeliever and thus he loses. Hence, man loses and becomes Zalim when he disbelieves and when he invents  lies against Allah.

Allah puts the sin of inventing lies against Him on top of all sins:

Allah says:

﴾And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.)? Verily, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) shall never be successful.﴿

[Al-An'am, 21]

Allah puts sins in an ascending order; He begins with Fahsha'a and Munkar, then Ithm and Udwan, then Shirk, then Kufr, and finally the mother of sins:

﴾And that you should say against Allah what you know not.﴿

 [Al-Baqarah, 169]

Inventing lies against Allah is the mother of sins, and it is committed  when one says, "Allah creates man originally Kafer, then man comes to the worldly life to carry out Allah's Will because Allah decrees that he is Kafer. As a result He will throw  him into the Hellfire for eternity." This saying is mere lie against Allah, and it reflects ill thoughts about  Him. Moreover, fatalism abuses believing in Allah:

He tied him and threw him into water and said
Do not  dare to get wet

﴾And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.)? Verily, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) shall never be successful* And on the Day when We shall gather them all together, We shall say to those who joined partners in worship (with Us): "Where are your partners (false deities) whom you used to assert (as partners in worship with Allah)?"* There will then be (left) no Fitnah (excuses or statements or arguments) for them but to say: "By Allah, our Lord, we were not those who joined others in worship with Allah."* Look! How they lie against themselves! But the (lie) which they invented will disappear from them.﴿

[Al-An'am, 21-24]

These errors are considered  crimes. If  you do not believe, you will lose yourself, everything else and the eternity in Paradise as well, and when you invent lies against Allah you will become Zalim of the worst kind. Therefore, when man disbelieves and covers his Kufr with lies he invents against Allah, against the Quran and against the Prophet PBUH, he will become a loser and a Zalim, and on the Day of Resurrection his  answer will be the following upon being asked by Allah:

﴾"By Allah, our Lord, we were not those who joined others in worship with Allah."﴿

 [Al-An'am, 23]

But Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, will say to them:

﴾ Look! How they lie against themselves! But the (lie) which they invented will disappear from them ﴿

[   Al-An'am, 24 ]
