In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Allah never loses the reward of the good deed:
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, the truthful and faithful.
I have a friend who he is from Lebanon, and he visited Damascus during the civil war in Lebanon. While he was driving his car he had an accident with a taxi-driver. He caused a serious damage to that man's taxi from which he used to make his living. Generally speaking, when someone's car is hit by someone else's he shouts. However, the reaction of that taxi-driver was completely different although my Lebanese friend is a rich man, and so he could have paid him whatever he needed to repair his car if the latter had asked him for money.
Surprisingly, the taxi-driver looked at my fried with a smile about what happened to his car, and he said, "It is okay. I will take no money from you. I forgave you for this." My friend wanted to give the man enough money to repair his car, but he refused.
How calm the reaction of the tax-driver was! He did not shout, nor did he get angry. Yet, my Lebanese friend shed tears, which made me wonder about the reason since that man asked him for no money and his reaction was very calm.
I asked him, "Why did you shed tears?" He replied, "Two years ago, a Syrian man was driving his car in Beirut, and veiled women were sitting with him in the back seat. He hit my car, causing a damage to it, but I did not want to spoil his trip, so I said to him, "It is okay. I forgave you. So I cried." That was the very reason for shedding tears. He saw how he was rewarded for his clam reaction with the Syrian driver. In other words, Allah the Almighty never lost his reward.
By Allah, the only Deity worthy of worship, Allah the Almighty never loses the reward of your good deed even if it is saving an ant during ablution or feeding a cat. You will be rewarded for such a good deed. In this regard, pay attention to this Hadith, please:
(( (Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said, "A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because, passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it. So, Allah forgave her because of that.") ))
A prostitute saw a dog which was about to die out of thirst, so she bent down over the water well, filled her shoe with water and pushed it to the dog. Allah forgave her for her deed, because she was in the middle of the desert where no one can see her deed, so she did not do that to show off or to be praised, but rather she did it only to save the dog's life.
Let me mention this fact before you and in which I believe, "No servant, whether he is a Muslim or a Kafir, offers a good deed to others, but Allah will reward him for it either in the worldly life or in the Hereafter." Would Allah waste a good deed you offered, a mercy you showed to someone, a help you gave to a sick person, a secret you kept about someone or an aid you offered to a person? Absolutely, He would not.
